101 Ideas – Project Insight
This site is one of several that were created to promote books published by our partner Master & Fool LLC. The site is – to be honest – a bit of a “kludge”. It’s built with pre-HTML 5 code, and has WordPress installed in a subdirectory to maintain a blog feature. There was a reason for this though – we needed to do a lot of A/B testing of Facebook advertising, email marketing, and YouTube contest entries. Keeping this site a hybrid static HTML/Wordpress site allowed us to do a lot of page creation on the fly, using hand-coding that would have been impossible using WordPress alone. Now that we’ve finished the user testing, we will soon be upgrading the site to the premium Responsive Pro theme, which we’ve also adapted for Why Everyone Should Wait Tables and the parent site for these sites, Master & Fool.
